As the temperatures plummeted Wednesday night, hundreds of Amazon employees were preparing for work. Gabby Easterwood reports.

Denver Mayor Mike Johnston's mother died on Friday, according to the mayor's social media.

Before officers arrived, they were told a shot had been fired inside the home, but that others living there were able to exit safely.

The agency said that the rescue call was reported at about 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, in the area of 5400 Glade Road. The agency also said the technical rescue took about three hours to complete.

An arrest has been made in a non-fatal shooting that left a man with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was able to give details about the suspect, including the suspect's address.

Police said the call came in at 12 p.m. The victim was identified as an adult man.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an independent, hosted a rally on Sunday in Aurora.

Student protesters said they were given location restrictions by the University of Denver administration because of their ongoing pro-Palestine and anti-Zionist protest encampment on Carnegie Green.

A program called Back on My Feet Denver works with local groups like the Salvation Army and Denver Rescue Mission to ignite a new passion in those who have fallen on hard times or are experiencing homelessness. FOX31's Rachel Saurer spoke to the group about how it's helped them in their journeys.

Showers and thunderstorms will quickly exit the state leaving just partly cloudy skies overnight into Monday. It will be breezy with a wind out of the south.

Photos showed a landspout tornado on the ground in eastern Colorado Sunday afternoon. The National Weather Service issued several advisories for storms across the northeastern portion of the state.
